I am a father of two fiesty boys and a husband to one lovely and patient women.  I am a proud American and love this great country of ours and the freedoms our creator has given this great land.  

Born and raised in Michigan and living in the Detroit region, I have seen some of the best our great state has to offer.  Michigan has seen better days but I know the people of this great state will not be down for long.  

I started in working in healthcare 17 years ago as a Certified Recreation Therapist in a nursing home after graduating with a degree in Theraputic Recreation from Central Michigan University.  I also spent sometime as vice president and president of the Therapeutic Recreation Association of Michigan.

As time went on I became interested in the business end of nursing homes and began the next phase of my career in Marketing and Public Relations.  It is in this capacity I have worked for the last 12 years of my career. In this phase I have worked on all levels of the senior healthcare continuum and I have a passion to educate the public about how to chose and best utilize senior healthcare services.

Another professional passion of mine is to educate healthcare professionals new to the field about the dedication and compassion it takes to be a healthcare professional.

To round out my professional experience I have taken several leadership roles both professionally and in the community.
